Straight answers, no runaround.
Twenty of the questions we hear every week, answered the way we'd answer them on the phone. If you don't see yours, give us a call. We pick up.
Getting Started.
How fast can you come out and look at my property?+
Most non-emergency walks get scheduled within a week. If a storm just rolled through, we're usually onsite within 24 to 48 hours, sooner for members of our Site Walk Program.
Do you charge for estimates?+
No. Initial walkthroughs and written estimates are free. If you need a deeper forensic inspection or a written report for insurance or capex planning, that's the Site Walk Program and it's priced per building.
What parts of Florida do you cover?+
All of it. Our HQ is in Altamonte Springs but we run jobs from Jacksonville to Miami and across to the Gulf Coast. Storm work pulls us anywhere in the state.
Are you actually licensed and insured?+
Three state licenses: CCC1333286 (Roofing), CBC1267462 (Building), and CVC57165 (Glass and Glazing). Fully insured, BBB A+, and we'll send you a current COI before we set a ladder on your property.
Storm & Insurance.
Should I file a claim before I call you?+
Call us first. We'll do a free damage assessment so you know what you're actually dealing with before you open a claim. Filing a claim for cosmetic damage can hurt your premium for years.
Do you work with my insurance company?+
Yes. We work with every major carrier in Florida, document everything to their standards, and meet adjusters onsite so nothing gets lost in translation. You don't have to be the middleman.
What's the difference between you and a public adjuster?+
A public adjuster negotiates your claim and takes a percentage of the payout. We're the contractor who actually does the work. The two roles aren't competitors, plenty of our jobs involve both. We can recommend reputable PAs if you want one.
How fast can you tarp my roof?+
Emergency tarp and dry-in is usually same-day or next-morning after a named storm. Site Walk Program members get our trucks before we take new calls.
What if my insurance denies the claim?+
We'll provide additional documentation, photos, and a contractor's report supporting the scope of damage. If the carrier still won't budge, we can refer you to attorneys and public adjusters who handle Florida claim disputes for a living.
Commercial & Site Walks.
What's actually included in a site walk?+
A licensed specialist walks the building top to bottom, photographs every system, and hands you a tiered punch list: fix this now, budget for this in twelve months, watch this one. Each line is scoped and priced.
Do you do capex and reserve planning?+
Yes. The Site Walk report includes a 12-month repair forecast and longer-range capex notes you can hand to your CFO or board. We do this for HOAs, REITs, family offices, and single-building owners.
What roof systems do you install on commercial buildings?+
TPO, PVC, modified bitumen, standing seam metal, and shingle. We're a GAF and Carlisle certified installer, which means we can offer manufacturer warranties most contractors can't.
Can you work around our tenants and operations?+
That's most of what we do. Phased work, night and weekend crews, low-odor systems for medical and hospitality, tenant notifications, the whole playbook. Nobody loses a day of business because of us.
Residential.
Do you do full remodels or just roofs?+
Full remodels. Kitchens, baths, additions, exterior restoration, the works. Our building license (CBC1267462) lets us self-perform almost everything instead of subbing it out to strangers.
What window brands do you carry?+
PGT, CGI, ES Windows, Andersen, and a handful of others. We size impact and energy-efficient units to your exposure and your budget, not to whatever we have a kickback on.
How long does a typical reroof take?+
Most single-family homes are one to three days for shingle, three to five for tile or metal. We coordinate the delivery, dumpster, and inspection so you're not chasing four different vendors.
Do you handle HOA approvals?+
Yes. We prep the submittal package, attend ARC meetings if needed, and make sure the materials and colors match your community's standards before anything gets ordered.
Pricing, Warranties, Process.
How do you price work?+
Line by line. Every estimate breaks out materials, labor, permitting, and disposal so you can see exactly where the money goes. No vague lump sums, no surprise change orders unless you approve them in writing.
What warranties do I get?+
Workmanship warranty from us (typically 5 to 10 years depending on scope) plus manufacturer warranties on materials. For commercial TPO and metal we can write 20 to 30 year NDL warranties through GAF and Carlisle.
Who's actually on my job site?+
Our crews, our project manager, our license. We self-perform the core trades and only sub specialty work to people we've worked with for years. You'll have one number to call and one person responsible for the outcome.
Talk to a human. We answer the phone.
No call centers, no "submit a ticket." You'll talk to someone who's actually walked roofs for a living and can tell you what the next step looks like.
